Prisoner of Hope

Standard

As I keep moving, putting one foot in front of the other, I’m leaving the past behind. A past in which I am thankful even grateful for! The one thing that remains constant in all this is hope…hope for a fantastic future! Hope gives me fuel for my race!

The bible says that hope deferred makes the heart sick. What is hope? Hope is a favorable and confident expectation; happy anticipation of something good! Thank you Merriam Webster for that great description 🙂 What is it to be a prisoner of hope? To have as much determination and be steadfast in the Lord that no situation is too much for Him to handle. How do we become steadfast in the Lord? Proverbs 8:34 tells us that “Blessed is the man who listens to me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.” I have decided to be a prisoner of hope.

Zechariah 9:12 says, “For all who have suffered greatly, return to your fortress, O’ prisoners of hope, even now I announce that I will restore twice as much to you!” Keep moving forward my friend and hold on tightly to your hope because pay day is coming!
